Fall tends to be the time when interior decor gets a little dark. This can be offset with the bright yellows and oranges that creation provides at that time of year. I never enjoyed fall because it was the precursor to the dark winter nights that were looming at the door and the colder temperatures. However, after I became a full time florist, I loved the change of the fun fall varieties and hardy longer lasting blooms. There's something about a fresh flower arrangement in fall that says, "No, not everything will die around you! It's just the time when the colors change from pinks and purples to the neon yellows, reds, and oranges!! Fresh flowers say, "Here's to a change of colors with the season." It doesn't say, "The season for flowers is over." Remember, for your own mood and spirit, always keep a bright arrangement of fresh flowers in the house. I promise you will always feel a lift in your soul when you walk by their spot! It's almost like they shoot life and hope out into a room.
