Yesterday, I delivered an adorable fall pumpkin arrangement to a very stressed woman who is recovering from the hurricane horror. She and her home are in tact but the stress of evacuation and learning of so many friends whose lives are now displaced and financially in limbo is certainly a heavy burden. When she opened the door, I saw worry all over her visage, but when she saw the flowers her face instantly brightened. It was as if the flowers erased her troubles.
I got a call from the sender of the order that evening thanking me for the wonderful job I had done with the pumpkin and what it had done for this lady’s spirits.
Please remember your friends and family in western Florida and North Carolina. You have no idea what it would mean to them if they could see beautiful flowers, where ever they are staying, reminding them that people do care about this awful misfortune they have suffered. Thank you.
